A Message from the President
It is my pleasure and great opportunity to provide an introduction about Derna University Journal of Medical Sciences (DUJMS), the official journal of Derna University - Libya. (More) This peer-reviewed journal has been issued in 2023. It promises to make a significant impact upon the field of medicine and related medical sciences. The motive of DUJMS is to give a medium for the dissemination of original research articles, review articles, short communications and case reports in all areas related to medical education. It is an open-access journal with a focus on providing practical up-to-date information on medicine and other related medical aspects. The journal features a distinguished editorial board, which brings together a team of highly experienced specialists in research. The journal is in the receipt of large numbers of articles in the line of screening submitted by authors from different health institutes. I hope DUJMS will become the principal platform for researchers to share findings and discuss all aspects of research in the development of future innovations that will benefit the national and international community. Journal goal is to provide the reader of DUJMS with a new, well-constructed, informative, and educational journal.

On behalf of our editorial team, I would like to present a sound of thanks to our readers, authors, editorial boards, anonymous reviewers and all of those contributing volunteers to develop the quality of research publication in medical sciences. (More) We are publishing our journal two times yearly with a particular emphasis on excellence and better outcomes of research. I am overjoyed to inform you all that DUJMS has been contributing greatly to improve the quality of research and education in the medical sector by publishing its issues regularly since 2023. We know that the progress in Medical Sciences can assist us in confronting the challenges of the 21st century. Finally, we support contributions from the scientific communities to confirm a continuity of a successful medical journal. We also welcome comments and suggestions that could advance the quality of the journal.
